Interlibrary Loans

Interlibrary Loan Service (MVS) is a service for SIC users. It allows to gain the documents which are not included in SIC CULS stock.

It is possible to gain the required document as a loan of the book or a copy of an article (for a fee 2 CZK per page). Loan duration depends on the source library and it is necessary to observe it. You can also request a document via International Interlibrary Loan Service - in case that the required document is not available in Czech Republic.

Check the availability of the required document before sending a request. Use CULS Catalogue (for the document availability within the CULS) or Uniform Information Gateway (for the document availability within the Czech Republic). You cannot request the document using the Interlibrary Loan Service if the requested document in SIC CULS is loaned. You also cannot request a loan of university theses.
